An Act that was  approved May 13, 1938, which made the 11th of November in each year a legal holiday.  This day is to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as ‘Armistice Day’ signifying the end of World War 1. The name of the holiday was changed by congress to “Veterans Day” on November 8, 1954. To this day, November 11th is known as Veterans Day.

1 oz Jagermeister
8 oz Red Bull

Labor Day Drink Recipe
1.5 oz of limoncello
Club Soda

Add ice and limoncello in a tall glass and fill the rest of the glass with club soda.

Labor Day Tequila Sunrise Drink Recipe
1/2 lime
1 1/2 oz tequila
1 teaspoon grenadine
1/3 teaspoon creme de cassis

Fill a glass with ice and squeeze lime inside. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Fill up the rest of the glass with soda water. Throw the remaining part of the lime in the drink. Enjoy.

Labor Day Long Island Iced Tea Drink Recipe
1/2 shot vodka
1/2 shot white rum
1/2 shot triple sec
1/2 shot gin
3 count sweet & sour mix
3 count cola

Fill collins glass with 3/4 full with ice. Add vodka, rum, triple sec, gin and sweet and sour into a cocktail tin. Shake and pour into glass. Add cola.

Labor Day Mojito Drink Recipe
1 1/2oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Lime Juice
1 tsp. Super Fine Sugar
3-4 Mint Leaves
Club Soda

Combine lime juice, mint and sugar in a Collins or highball glass.
Stir gently to bruise the mint.
Fill glass 3/4 with ice.
Add the rum.
Top with soda. Stir well.

Labor Day Pina Colada Drink Recipe
1 1/2oz. Light Rum
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 oz. Cream of Coconut
1/2 Banana
1/2 cup crushed ice

Combine all ingredients in an electric blender with the ice. Blend 20 – 30 seconds. Pour blended mixture into a Collins glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and paper umbrella (of course!)

The Graduate Drink Recipe
.5 lime, fresh squeezed
.5 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1.5 oz Southern Comfort peach liqueur
1 oz pineapple juice

Put lemonade in a tall glass with ice and pour in Amaretto. Drink through a straw, and celebrate!

1 oz Cognac

1.5 oz Rum

Shake all ingredients over ice and pour into cocktail glass and garnish with orange peel. A couple of these and you will be celebrating like crazy!

Campari and Soda Drink Recipe
6 oz Campari® bitters
6 oz soda water
Orange Slice

Pour ingredients over ice in a Old Fashioned Glass, and squeeze in a slice of orange and drop it in. Enjoy Moms!

Mother’s Day Cocktail Recipe
4 oz Pommery Pink POP champagne
1 oz Van Gogh pomegranate vodka

Pour vodka into a champagne flute and top with champagne, Garnish with a strawberry and enjoy Mother’s Day!

Mimosa Drink Recipe
2 oz orange juice
Champagne

Pour orange juice into a collins glass or champagne flute. Fill with chilled champagne, stir very gently, and enjoy!!

Bloody Mary Drink Recipe
1 1/2 oz Vodka
3 oz Tomato Juice
1 dash Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2-3 drops Tabasco Sauce
1 sprinkle Salt
1 dash Pepper

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a glass 2/3 full of ice cubes. Add a celery stick to stir with.

3 teaspoon(s) sugar (or simple syrup)
12 fresh mint sprigs, plus extra for garnish

Fresh peach slices
Peach nectar, chilled
Sparkling rosé wine, prosecco, or Champagne, well-chilled
Grenadine syrup

Put some fresh peach slices into wineglasses and add some chilled peach nectar to cover. Top with well-chilled sparkling rosé wine, prosecco, or Champagne. Add a drop of grenadine syrup to each drink.

Pineapple Cooler Drink Recipe
1 large (about 4 pounds) fresh pineapple
1 1/4 cup(s) sugar
11 sprig(s) fresh lavender, rosemary, or lemon verbena
1/4 cup(s) fresh lemon juice

1. Cut the peel from the pineapple, remove the core, and cut the fruit into 1-inch pieces.
2. Place the fruit in a food processor fitted with a metal blade and pulse until the pineapple is crushed but not pureed. Transfer to a large nonreactive pot, add the sugar, 4 cups water, and 3 herb sprigs.
3. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.
4. Gently press the solids to extract the juice. Cool and stir in the lemon juice. Serve over ice garnished with the remaining herb sprigs.

2.5 oz white tequila

.25 cup tequila
.25 cup orange liqueur

Lime wedges
Coarse salt (Margarita Salt)

(Above Recipe makes 2 servings) Rub the rims of 2 glasses with the lime wedge. Dip glass rims into salt. Fill half glasses with ice. In a pitcher, mix the tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice together, then pour into glasses. Garnish with lime wedges, and Enjoy the Classic Margarita!!

Paloma Drink Recipe
2 oz blanco or reposado tequila
6 oz fresh grapefruit soda
.5 oz lime juice
salt for rim of glass (optional)

Rim a collins glass with salt and fill the glass with ice, tequila and lime juice. Then top it off with grapefruit soda and enjoy!!

Cranberry Mojito Drink Recipe
4 brown sugar cubes
10 mint leaves
.25 ounce Ocean Spray® Craisins® Sweetened Dried Cranberries
Juice of 1 lime
6 oz Ocean Spray® Cranberry Juice Cocktail
2 cups cubed ice
1 sugar cane swizzle stick, garnish
1 lime wedge, garnish
1 mint sprig, garnish

Place sugar cubes, mint leaves, lime juice and sweetened dried cranberries in large tumbler and crush. Combine ingredients in glass using a muddling stick or spoon, until sweetened dried cranberries and mint are minced and sugar is dissolved. Add cranberry juice and ice and mix well. Pour into a tall glass, garnish with lime wedge, and enjoy!

Strawberry Margarita Drink Recipe
4 oz frozen sliced California Strawberries in syrup, partially thawed
1.5 ounces tequila
1 oz lime juice or sweet and sour mix
.5 ounce triple sec
1 scoop ice
Whole fresh California Strawberry
Lime slice

In a blender combine all ingredients except whole strawberry and lime slice. Blend until smooth, and pour into stemmed glass rimmed with salt and sugar around rim. Garnish with whole strawberry and lime slice and enjoy this refreshing cocktail on a hot day like cinco de mayo!

Blackberry Margarita Drink Recipe
1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries (if frozen, thaw)
.25 cup tequila
2 tablespoons orange liqueur
.25 cup lime juice
2 cups crushed ice
Lime or orange juice

Blend berries and juice in blender, and add remaining ingredients and blend until ice is almost smooth.
Moisten rim of 2 (12-ounce) glasses with lime or orange juice and dip in sugar, then pour blended mixture into prepared glasses and serve.

Summer Sangria Drink Recipe
1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja reds, Zinfandel, Shiraz)
3 cups grapefruit juice, chilled
1.5 cups white grape juice, chilled
1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 orange, peeled and thinly sliced (see note)
1.5 cups club soda, chilled

(Makes 8 servings) Combine grapefruit juice white grape juice, orange slices and strawberries, add club soda and serve. Simple and good!

T.K.O. Drink Recipe
1/3 oz Tequila Tequila
1/3 oz Coffee Liqueur Liqueur
1/3 oz Ouzo Liqueur

Just pour equal parts of all three into a shot glass and enjoy!

Knockout Drink Recipe
1 tsp Creme de Menthe Liqueur
.5 oz Anis Liqueur
.75oz Gin Gin
oz Dry Vermouth Wine

Stir all ingredients (except cherry) with ice in a shaker, and strain into a cocktail glass. Top with the cherry and serve.

Fight Club Drink Recipe
3/4 Lime
Tablespoon of Sugar (bakers sugar if you have it)
Vodka

Crush up lime in a old fashioned glass, and add sugar and fill to top with ice. The fill with vodka.

Fight Night Drink Recipe #2
2 oz. Cognac
1 splash Grenadine
2 1/2 oz. Lemon-lime Soda (Squirt)
2 slices Lime

In a Highball glass

Pour in Cognac first, then squeeze the two lime slices in the glass, and pour in the Squirt. Then put a splash of grenadine on top.

K.O. Drink Recipe
1 2/3 oz. Vodka, lemon
1 splash Grenadine
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
2 tbsp. (fresh) Lemon Juice
1 pinch Cinnamon
2 scoops Sugar, powdered

In an Old Fashioned Glass, shake all ingredients except grenadine in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into an old fashion glass and splash the grenadine on top.

(If you can’t find the 4 Copas brand agave nectar, try to find another organic brand, but you may want to dilute it half with water)
