An Act that was  approved May 13, 1938, which made the 11th of November in each year a legal holiday.  This day is to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as ‘Armistice Day’ signifying the end of World War 1. The name of the holiday was changed by congress to “Veterans Day” on November 8, 1954. To this day, November 11th is known as Veterans Day.

Veteran Drink Recipe
2 oz. Dark Rum
1/2 oz. Cherry Brandy

Pour the rum and a cherry brandy into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir and enjoy!

Victory Drink Recipe
1 fill with Club Soda
0.75 oz. Grenadine
1.5 oz. Pernod

Add Pernod and grenadine to a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake and strain into glass filled with ice. Fill with club soda.

Artillery Cocktail Drink Recipe
6 parts Gin
2 parts sweet vermouth

Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice & serve.

Dead Nazi Drink Recipe
.25 oz Creme de Menthe
.25 oz OVAL Vodka
.25 oz Jagermeister

Mix together in shot glass, and take down!

Memorial Day Beer Drink Recipe
12 oz Frozen lemonade concentrate
12 oz can of beer
12 oz water
8 oz of Vodka

Mix all ingredients together, add ice and enjoy.

World War II Drink Recipe
1 part Bourbon
1 part Cointreau
1 part Gin
1 part Melon liqueur
1 part Vodka
1 part Jagermeister

Add pineapple & cranberry juice. Shake well, serve over ice and enjoy!!

Civil War Drink Recipe
6 oz Cola
0.5 oz Grenadine
2 oz Jack Daniels
2 oz Southern Comfort

Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves.

Army Ranger Drink Recipe
.5 oz 151 Proof Rum
1 oz Jagermeister
8 oz Red Bull

Mix together in a glass with ice, and enjoy!
