Veterans day is an American holiday, honored annually, usually on November 11th, unless landing on a Sunday, and other rare exceptions.</p>
<p>An Act that was  approved May 13, 1938, which made the 11th of November in each year a legal holiday.  This day is to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as &#8216;Armistice Day&#8217; signifying the end of World War 1. The name of the holiday was changed by congress to &#8220;Veterans Day&#8221; on November 8, 1954. To this day, November 11th is known as Veterans Day.</p>
<p>Enjoy these Veterans Day Drink Recipes this year!</p>
<p><strong>Veteran Drink Recipe</strong><em><br />
</em>2 oz. Dark Rum<br />
1/2 oz. Cherry Brandy</p>
<p><em>Pour the rum and a cherry brandy into an old-fashioned glass almost filled with ice cubes. Stir and enjoy!</em></p>
<p><strong>Victory Drink Recipe</strong><br />
1 fill with Club Soda<br />
0.75 oz. Grenadine<br />
1.5 oz. Pernod</p>
<p><em>Add Pernod and grenadine to a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake and strain into glass filled with ice. Fill with club soda.</em></p>
<p><strong>Artillery Cocktail Drink Recipe</strong><br />
6 parts Gin<br />
2 parts sweet vermouth</p>
<p><em>Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice &amp; serve.</em></p>
<p><strong>Dead Nazi Drink Recipe</strong><em><br />
</em>.25 oz Creme de Menthe<br />
.25 oz OVAL Vodka<br />
.25 oz Jagermeister<em><br />
</em></p>
<p><em>Mix together in shot glass, and take down!<br />
</em></p>
<p><strong>Memorial Day Beer Drink Recipe</strong><br />
12 oz Frozen lemonade concentrate<br />
12 oz can of beer<br />
12 oz water<br />
8 oz of Vodka</p>
<p><em>Mix all ingredients together, add ice and enjoy.</em></p>
<p><strong>World War II Drink Recipe</strong><br />
1 part Bourbon<br />
1 part Cointreau<br />
1 part Gin<br />
1 part Melon liqueur<br />
1 part Vodka<br />
1 part Jagermeister</p>
<p><em>Add pineapple &amp; cranberry juice. Shake well, serve over ice and enjoy!!</em></p>
<p><strong>Civil War Drink Recipe</strong><br />
6 oz Cola<br />
0.5 oz Grenadine<br />
2 oz Jack Daniels<br />
2 oz Southern Comfort</p>
<p><em>Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves.</em></p>
<p><strong>Army Ranger Drink Recipe</strong><br />
.5 oz  151 Proof Rum<br />
1 oz Jagermeister<br />
8 oz Red Bull</p>
